Pompeian Bronze refers to a Brooklyn-based company (active roughly 1910s–1930s) that specialized in manufacturing high-quality, "bronze-clad" decorative items, particularly Art Deco and figural bookends, lamps, and ashtrays. These pieces are not solid bronze, but rather electroformed, where a thin layer of copper or bronze is plated over a white metal (spelter or pewter) casting.
